Risk Management Training for Outdoor Programs

February 7, 2022 – The International Camping Fellowship (ICF) announced a collaboration between ICF and Viristar to bring training courses on risk management to ICF’s community of summer camp and year-round camp professionals.
Viristar provides consulting and training services to camp, travel, and experiential programs world-wide. Viristar has provided its acclaimed risk management trainings for camp and outdoor adventure professionals in 40 countries on six continents, and offers risk management reviews and program design services for outdoor and camp programs world-wide.
Viristar is offering ICF members comprehensive, four-week trainings at a special discount rate. Every course also offers support to ICF as well as the ICF member.

The courses are four weeks in length. They combine online self-study with group work and seminar-style video-conference calls. Topics include safety culture, best practice standards, COVID-19, systems thinking, and more.
